THE COMMUNITY INTERVENTION CENTER will be strictly enforcing the following rules in an attempt to protect our clients and staff during the Covid-19 pandemic.
*We are limiting services to people who are strictly HOMELESS and are currently in our local shelter or can VERIFY being outside.
*We can NOT provide services to people who are in rooms, apartments or staying with friends at this time.
* We will only provide services to people who can provide a LACKAWANNA COUNTY ID.
* If you are new to Scranton, ex: coming here via bus, taxi, car ect. from another city or state, we will NOT be able to provide services at this time and you will NOT be allowed into our agency.
* We will be following HUD Guidelines for screening.
* ID and Temperatures will be checked at our door prior to entrance.
*At this time, we CAN NOT provide services to anyone who is exhibiting any signs or symptoms of having Covid-19. We do not have the capability of providing the recommended isolation area required to assist someone and can not risk our entire population. All available referrals will be made to assist someone exhibiting symptoms.
*We have limited what donations we can/can not accept. If you are making a donation, please call ahead with the information and we will meet you outside to pick up items.
PLEASE, before you refer someone to our agency or before you come to our agency on your own CALL FIRST to ensure we can help.
We are doing our best to remain open and provide services to those most in need in our community. If you have questions on what services we are currently providing, CALL BEFORE COMING TO THE AGENCY.
